Flight Instructor - Airplane, Instrument, Cirrus Standardized Instructor Pilot & Chief Instructor

I grew up in a small town in Northern Minnesota and always dreamed of learning to fly and to live in a location a bit warmer. I moved my family to Southwest Florida and began to accomplish my lifetime dream of becoming a pilot.

Today, as a managing member of Sun Coast Aviation and as its Chief Flight Instructor, I accomplished my dream and I would love to help you make yours a reality also. I love flying every day whether with a student on their first flight lesson or heading out to the Bahamas to deliver a customer’s airplane.

I believe that Naples and Southwest Florida is a beautiful place to learn to fly with great weather. You can accomplish your learning to fly dreams, and it would be an honor to assist you.

Flight Instructor - Airplane

I was born on the island of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean where I fell under the spell of aviation at a very early age, having my dad and uncle in the aviators’ community. Since my First Solo in 1991, I have had the privilege to experience many sides of aviation. From flying professionally in Madagascar, East Africa, South America and the US to flying gliders in the French Alps or single-engine prop planes from Naples to Canada and back, to flying business jets across the country and flight instructing in Southwest Florida, aviation never ceases to be such a rewarding and fulfilling passion.

In the past 3 years I have really enjoyed instructing out of Naples Municipal Airport and specializing in Cirrus instruction.

I look forward to meeting you at Sun Coast Aviation

Flight Instructor - Airplane, Instrument & Multi-Engine

I've been a pilot for almost 40 years and a flight instructor for over 30 years. My experience includes working for the airlines, charter contract pilot and a pilot for individuals.

I love to fly! That's why I become an instructor. I get immense satisfaction from passing on my knowledge and love of flying to others. As each student I teach reaches a new milestone in their training it brings me a sense of accomplishment and joy. I teach single engine, multi-engine and instrument. During my many years of flying I have become qualified to instruct in over 20 airplanes, everything from Piper Cubs to King Airs!

Flight Instructor - Airplane

I was born in Germany, grew up in Spain, and moved to Florida eight years ago. When I was young, I often flew back and forth between Spain and Germany, and with every flight I was more and more fascinated with aviation. It was then when I decided that all I wanted, was to become a professional pilot. I slowly started to get more involved in the aviation community, but it wasn’t until I started my bachelor’s degree, when I began obtaining all my pilot ratings. Once I graduated and finished my Commercial Multiengine rating, I started my first professional Pilot job, flying King Airs.  This job allowed me to fly around the US and the Dominican Republic, teaching me many valuable lessons and allowed me to build incredible experience, which I now like to share with my students.

I currently work as both an instructor and a King Air pilot, but put most of my energy into instruction and helping new students become professional pilots. I’m fluent in German, Spanish and English, and will gladly help non-native speakers obtain the necessary aviation English skills to pass the written and practical exam. I look forward meeting you.
