KYLE NORNBERG

OWNER / CHIEF FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR / CFI / CFII / CSIP

I grew up in a small town in Northern Minnesota and always dreamed of learning to fly and to live in a location a bit warmer. So I moved my family to Naples, FL and began to accomplish my lifetime dream of becoming a pilot. I love to fly whether that is with a student on their first flight lesson or heading out to the Bahamas to deliver a customer’s airplane. I believe that Naples is the most beautiful place to learn to fly. You too can accomplish your learning to fly dream, like I did.

I have been flight instructing since October, 2015. I attended Syracuse University, studying Liberal Arts. I took my first Discovery flight in April, 2013 and was hooked on flying. After receiving my Private pilot rating, I attended a Flight school in northern Florida and finished my ratings, including CFI, CFII, MEI. I have a type rating in a Hawker 800 and enjoyed jet flying for a short period of time. I live in Naples with my husband, an airline pilot, my son, a CFI and my daughter who is not in aviation. CHRIS FAVRO

CFI / CFII / CSIP

I was born and bred on the island of Madagascar in the Indian Ocean where I fell under the spell of aviation at a very early age, having my dad and uncle in the aviators’ community. Since my First Solo in 1991, I have had the privilege to experience many sides of aviation. From flying professionally in Madagascar, East Africa, South America and the US to flying gliders in the French Alps or single-engine prop planes from Naples to Canada and back, to flying business jets across the country and flight instructing in Southwest Florida, aviation never ceases to be such a rewarding and fulfilling passion.

In the past 3 years I have really enjoyed instructing out of Naples Municipal Airport and specializing in Cirrus instruction.

I look forward to meeting you at Sun Coast Aviation.

RYAN HAMNER

CFI

I always knew I wanted to fly. Growing up in Virginia with parents as pilots, I enjoyed the ability to travel and sit and listen to stories my dad would tell of his career. After high school, we moved to Naples, Florida and I started my flight training with my mom as my flight instructor. Through hard work, I achieved my CFI and love to be able to introduce others to something that so few are able to experience – flying!
